Open World Moldova 3 Years Anniversary Reunion

The ceremony took place Saturday, December the 19th in Chisinau, the Capital of Moldova, the Event Gathering Open World Alumni who participated in the program since its beginning in 2007.

Tatiana Etco and Vitalie Calugareanu initiated this idea to invite the 100 Alumni that have become Open World Moldova family. The event was a blast and the attendees, including the specially invited guest Olesea Fortuna, Open World Country Coordinator, facilitators, Mayors, Journalists cheered with a glass of Champaign the 10 years Open World Anniversary and 3 Years of Cooperation with Moldova . The first generation of OW Alumni in Moldova has been represented by Andrei Brighidin, Eurasia Foundation, and Mihail Catan, the Mayor of Molesti. The 2 alumni journalists Tatiana Etco and Vitalie Calugareanu, who came with the initiative hosted the ceremony and combined the official part with activities, presents, dancing, memories and successes from their visits to the USA.

The event has been accompanied by life music and an Anniversary Cake with Open World Inscriptions. Especially colored red and blue balloons that represented the colors of Open World Symbol where presented to Olesea Fortuna as a gesture of gratitude from Open World Moldova Alumni Community.

Open World currently operates exchanges for political and civic leaders from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
