"Planning for FALL" FLEX alumni reunion

August, 28 2011

Sunday, August 28, about twenty-five alumni gathered together for a FLEX Alumni Reunion, entitled "Planning for FALL", at American Councils, Chisinau. Alumni discussed the 2012-2013 FLEX Recruitment season and brainstormed on ways to promote FLEX in their high-schools and communities. They came up with presentation templates to be used to spread the word about FLEX. The City Representative volunteering position was presented, with short descriptions of responsibilities and privileges, as well as the application method. Look out next week for the City Representative application form. Afterwards, Alumni came up with ideas for events to be undertaken this fall, ranging from Halloween party and Thanksgiving dinner to park cleanups and fundraisers. Lastly, the Alumni talked about ways of making the FLEX Alumni Database update more efficient and more enjoyable.
It all ended with great talks about past experiences and future plans, topped with slices of tasty pizza.
