Civic Education Workshop 2016 !

March, 12 2016

The volunteer evaluation committee in Washington, D.C. has selected 9 FLEX 2015-2016 Moldovan students to attend Civic Education Workshop: Victoria Bodean, Mihai Cebotari, Tudor Calarasi, Laura Neamtu Axan, Iana Catana, Olga Casian, Laura Ciocan, Kalinovski Ana, Bratu Valeria.

The workshop will take place in Washington, D.C. from March 13-19, 2016. Participation in this program is funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
Throughout the week, participants will take part in seminars on the U.S. system of government and discussions with representatives of civic organizations and the media.
Students will have a chance to meet with FLEX alumni to learn what they have done since returning home and how their FLEX exchange experience has influenced their careers and lives today. The program provides an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of some of the key concepts and values that are an integral part of U.S. society and culture.
Participants learn firsthand about the U.S. federal system of government and other important concepts through seminar discussions, briefings, and meetings on Capitol Hill.

The selection process for this program was highly competitive. We are proud of our students' accomplishment and we will be waiting you to send us updates from the event !!
