The Rainbow Fair

On May 16, Natalia Andreev FLEX ‘07 organized an up cycle workshop for The Rainbow Fair visitors. She was assisted by Ruxanda Vasilov, FLEX Alumna '14. Using the materials left from the GYSD workshop, the Alumni guided visitors through the process of bottle and jar decoration and taught how to write creative messages in match boxes. The Fair was hosted by the GENDERDOC-M Information Centre (*the first NGO in Moldova that fights for LGBT community rights) in partnership with the non-governmental organization for protection of homeless animals "ALGA". Together they raised 8740 MDL (*$480). All proceeds will go towards sustaining homeless animals, their sterilization and urgent assistance in case of traumas.
