An inedited project "About Moldova" initiated by FLEX alumni Moldova

June, 9 2014

Nicu Gaibu FLEX '12 along with a Peace Corps volunteer Michael Watts and other four FLEX alumni has started an inedited project called "Despre Moldova" or in English "About Moldova".

The goal of the project is to discover the history of Moldova and make people love our country.

They plan to achieve their goal by engaging old people from different regions of Moldova by sharing their own stories about Moldovan history (culture, traditions, language, communities etc.) through video interviews. The mission of the project is: Connection between elders and youth for a sustainable development of the history of Moldova. All the videos are being collected, and after a good edition the videos will be published and promoted on different Moldovan web sites, as well as on FLEX Alumni Community Facebook Page. Throughout this spring, the team has been travelling to over 7 different regions of Moldova for collecting people's stories.

The "About Moldova" project seems to be a successful beginning that will bring a huge impact on Moldova society.
