  • The LFP scholarship has had a major impact on his career
  • Immediately after returning from USA. Mr Unciuc was involved in the first stage of a joint Moldovan-Norwegian project in the field of Corrections and Rehabilitations, entitled "Goian Project" ( June-December 2012)
  • The project offered him the possibility to have a short term internship in Norway, within Kriminalomsorgen Norwegian Correctional Service (August 2012)
  • In December 2012 he was promoted to a new position - Deputy Warden for Correctional and Educational Activities in a high security facility in the South of the country (Taraclia- nr.1 high security prison)
  • Together with his LFP colleague, Alexei Lazari, organized  the "Intercultural exchange between Judicial Systems in the US and Republic of Moldova: Prison System and the Probation Office" outbound project
  • The two LFP alumni organized a ten day visit to Moldova of three American legislative experts:  Elena Dragalin, president of "Moldova AID" Organisation, Jeff Nobel, Deputy Warden of London Correctional Institution and Jeffrey Hunsaker, Executive Director of "Horizont" NGO
  • In 2012 Mr Unciuc took the outbound project to a higher level and planned to organized a reciprocal visit of a group of Moldovan correctional officers to Ohio Department of Corrections

From March, 30 to April 5, 2017, Nigina Azizov, PFP Alumna (Fall 2016 Cohort) implemented her outbound project entitled "Dare to Share!" She received the support of the supervisors she had worked with during her internship in the US: Mrs. Judith Vaughan-Prather, Maryland Commission for Women Executive Director, and Mrs. Yun Jung Yang, Esq., Co-Chair Voices of Maryland Women Listening Tour; in turning all her plans to action.
