David Lucero visits Republic of Moldova State Chancellery

David Lucero, New Mexico Legislature Deputy Director, visited Republic of Moldova State Chancellery as the guest expert invited by PFP alumnus Valentin Croitoru as part of the "Developing Better Program Evaluation Guidelines in the Republic of Moldova" outbound project. Project Goals: Identify the requirements for a well-structured framework of generally accepted government program auditing standards, promote the idea of nonpartisan assessment of the stewardship in government entities and raise awareness regarding the benefits of conducting proper Program Evaluations. During his visit to Moldova, David Lucero participated in a 2-day conference with the civil servants working for the Monitoring and Evaluation Divisions of line Ministries. The conference discussed and promoted nonpartisan assessments of the stewardship in government and benefits of conducting proper Program Evaluations. He held a meeting with the Monitoring and Evaluation Division Heads of Unit in order to draft guidelines for performing proper program evaluations.
