PFP alumna from Moldova hosts US expert from HIAS

April 28 through May 4 Liza Lieberman, HIAS Director, Advocacy & Outreach, will be visiting Republic of Moldova as a special guest of the ”Establishing Long-lasting Relationship with US and Moldovan Counterparts within Refugees and Statelessness Fields” Project coordinated by PFP alumna Irina Greiter and hosted by Law Center of Advocates.


The program will include visits to the Migration Accommodation Center, Temporary Accommodation Center, UN Agency for Refugees (UNHCR), Charity Center for Refugees NGO, AVE Copiii NGO, Bureau for Migration and Asylum, Supreme Security Council Office of thePresident of the Republic of Moldova.


Liza Lieberman will be conducting a workshop at the Law Center of Advocates together with representatives from UNHCR, NGO Charity Center for Refugees, AVE Copiii NGO and Bureau for Migration and Asylum, Refugee Directorate. She will also conduct a lecture at the Legal Clinic in the Area of Asylum and Statelessness (LCAS) and will attend a Moldovian wedding at the end of her visit to Moldova.
