PFP alumnus Vladimir Palamarciuc invited as a guest speaker at the Legal Forum

On 15 March, 2014 there was organised the first Legal Forum in the Republic of Moldova, an event attended by over 500 law firms professionals, entrepreneurs and bank representatives. The key note speakers included Oleg Efrim, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, Narine Sahakyan, UN Resident Coordinator a.i./ UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, Eugen Osmochescu - Investment Climate Reform Project Manager, Moldova and Ukraine and Pakize Banu Cankan-Kartal, Spouse of the Ambassador of Turkey, IWCM Co-President.


Vladimir Palamarciuc, LFP 2013 alumnus, was invited as one of the guest speakers to share from his expertise in field of legal methods and the risks of debt recovery in insolvency proceedings. The theme is especially important in the legal climate of Republic of Moldova due to the fulfillment of 1 year since the reformation of insolvency legislation in Moldova and its importance for the national economy and legal relations. During his internship within the State Bar of New Mexico, USA, in October 2013, Vladimir attended professional seminars approaching insolvency issues, an experience he found exrtremely relevant for Republic of Moldova legal climate.


Associate Vladimir Palamarciuc specializes in civil law, commercial law, judiciary disputes and insolvency procedure and has been involved in a wide range of leading mandates at Turcan Cazac. Among his many initiatives concerning the initial legal training of practitioners, Vladimir coordinated the working group that created the first guide for trainee lawyers in Moldova.
