May, 2013- 6 Access groups attended "Grant Writing Basics: Creating a fundable proposal" workshop

In May a group of 2 Access Alumni from Ungheni, Martina Esanu and Ana Ciubotari , and a Peace Corps Volunteer from Ungheni, Robyn Savacool, organized for 120 Access students from Cahul, Comrat, Ungheni, Balti, Chisinau and Varnita/.Bender a workshop on writing grant proposals, entitled  "Grant Writing Basics: Creating a fundable proposal". The workshop was addressed towards increasing the ability of communities and organizations to identify local problems and their solutions; creating understanding of the grant writing process; and describing the process to prepare and submit grant proposals. This way, there were discussed the topics covering the meaning of a good project idea; procedures to write a good proposals; team skills and experience; successful solutions; SMART goals, etc.  to help students to get competent in writing new grant proposals for their community development.

 


 

Previous news
On April 22, Access Students from Taraclia had organized a GYSD project for their community, in order to do that, they have invited NSLI-Y students to join them into city quest and they have planted red flowers in the shape of a ribbon to create an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign.
Access Students from Soroca, Taraclia, Bender, and Vulcanesti had the chance to celebrate Easter in the traditional American Style.
Access Teachers and assistants participated in a workshop delivered by AIESEC Moldova President, Faraji Hassan Emily about Sustainable Development Goals. After the workshop, teachers and assistants from Access will deliver a session about these goals joining the "Youth Engagement and Act" raising the awareness of #SDGs around the world.
