ACCESS Students celebrates Valentine's Day

February is associated with the month of love and everyone keeps sharing this emotion, feeling or state of being around them.

Access groups from Soroca, Taraclia, Bender, and Vulcanesti organized different activities related to this lovely holiday.

 

ACCESS Students from Taraclia celebrated Valentine's Day together. Besides discovering the history of this holiday, they have organized a contest "The best love-story". The winners got some sweets which they shared with other students. Pictures

 

"Love is all we need..." that was the topic of the workshop organized by our ACCESS staff in Soroca, where students had the chance to create and write postcards to their loved one. Besides that, students explored to origins of this holiday and how it is celebrated in the USA. Pictures

 

Access Students from Bender on the Valentine's Day organized a fun workshop of Valentine's Day cards. Everyone tried to make it unique and full of love in order to impress their beloved. Pictures

 

Access Vulcanesti organized a poetry contest of the most romantic poetry. Students had to present their poems and the jury, local English teacher and Access teacher and assistant,  had chosen the most romantic one. The winner  Ceban Tatiana got a box of chocolates which she had shared with the entire class. Pictures

 

Valentine's Day a great privilege to appreciate each other and to bring more positive actions among people.

 

Previous news
During the whole March, AIESEC Moldova international volunteers have visited all Access sites. They have presented a lesson about 17 Sustainable Development Goals together with Access teachers and assistants.
On April 22, Access Students from Taraclia had organized a GYSD project for their community, in order to do that, they have invited NSLI-Y students to join them into city quest and they have planted red flowers in the shape of a ribbon to create an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign.
Access Students from Bender, Balti, Taraclia, Vulcanesti and Ungheni decided to organize a public speaking event being inspired by TEDx talks that they have watched during the lessons. First, they were afraid to talk in front of the people, but then they overcame their fears and shared their thoughts and feelings with the public.
