"The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime".

On May, 6, Access administration organized a special day for the students from Access Straseni group. They prepared a team building session for the children and some other surprises in order to enhance the cohesion of the group, to help them build a strong team spirit and learn to work together in order to achieve their goals.

The guests came with a lot of positive emotions, energy, enthusiasm, and eagerness to share it with the children. The students were invited to play some of the most popular games from their practice. They had the chance to share their preferences with their colleagues during the "Bus Station" game. It turned out that these children have a lot of things in common and it is surely one of the main requirements for a successful and friendly team. They also learned that it is much easier to achieve a goal when working together, playing the "Sinking Ship" and "Holey Blanket" games. There was lot of laughter during the "Marilyn Monroe" game when the students had to perform the roles of elephants, trees, dogs, James Bond and Marilyn Monroe together with their fellows. The "Find the leader" game helped the students to learn what it means to be attentive to what your colleagues do and that it is very important to be careful to what happens around you.

In addition to all these interesting games, Jesse Pluim, a Peace Corps Volunteer, who effectively collaborates with Access Program Moldova, introduced the participants into the major goals of "Conversation Connect" project, and invited them to get involved in the next academic year.
