iEARN nomminated the best iEARN-Moldova Alumnus from Access Program

Recently, iEARN has nomminated Vlad Ciuperca the best iEARN-Moldova Alumnus due to his active involvement and collaborative particpation to many international online projects developed within iEARN network. The news was published on iEARN Facebook page, citing the following:

"Vlad Ciuperca is one of the most successful iEARN Alumni from Moldova who from 2011 to 2013 have participated in many collaborative iEARN projects withing Learning Circles such as "My City and Me", "Computer Chronicles", "Global issues: Environment" and "Global Issues: Education". Among his best and original project are "People who made the History", "Clean-Up Event" and " About High-school in Moldova" . This experience contributed to Vlad's social, digital, and civic development , since he learnt a lot of things through active collaboration, discussion, and interaction with other people from around the world.
Consequently, the skills he acquired in iEARN community were of his great use during his visit in USA while participating in Flex Exchange Program. Also, it marked his decision to become a teacher assistant in the Access Microscholarship Program from Moldova to help other teens get involved and take part in lots of international projects from the iEARN network."


The whole Access team and iEARN-Moldova are proud of the prodigious activity our Access Alumnus and Access teacher assistant from Ungheni has been doing for almost 3 years!

Access Students from Vulcanesti organized "Best Actor" contest from their class. This idea came up to Alina Ialama, Access Assistant in Vulcanesti.
On April 5th, Access Students from Soroca had a special guest. They have met Jonathan Wolfington, Cultural Attache of the U.S. Embassy in Moldova.
Access Soroca, during their short spring break decided to do some volunteering around their community. They decided to help two social vulnerable families from their community.
