"The Best Ways to Study English" Power Point Competition

In February 2014, American Councils Moldova organized a Power Point essay competition with the topic "The Best Ways to Study English" for all ALC and Access students. The Access members as usually showed their interest and enthusiasm to participate in a competition. The Access Ungheni and Access Cahul groups proved to be the most active and willing to receive the prize. The results of their hard work, their wonderful and interesting presentations, helped us to discover which activities are more appealing to them and how they prefer to study English. These works might give our teachers and teacher-assistants a hint to what their students like the most and to how they can get their attention and motivate them.

In addition, we were very pleased and happy to see that several participants mentioned that one of the best ways to study English is to participate in Access Microscholarship Program, which proved to us that what we do is the right thing to do, and our students are thankful for that.

So, we want to mention all the people who participated in this contest and to tell them to never give up and to continue in the same way because they are on the right track: Rîbac Elena (Ungheni), Irina Usatîi (Cahul), Popov Carolina (Cahul), Lisa Rudeanu (Cahul), Anna Romanenco (Cahul), Cristian Vlas (Ungheni), Artiomov Daniela (Ungheni). Good job, guys!

And in the end we want to announce and congratulate the winner of our competition: Elena Rîbac, Access Ungheni. To help kindle her love for the English language, Elena receives the #1 fiction book of 2012, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and a lovely book sleeve, courtesy of Gribook Accessories. Congratulations, Elena!
